A survey by Jitterbit has found that seven-in-ten enterprises still dont have a unified data platform, which is creating challenges in consolidating data silos. The study also revealed that two-thirds of enterprises are now using over 500 applications, creating an additional 125,000 potential integrations that require continuous oversight, updates, and maintenance. IT leaders are now prioritising data integration and process automation, which are taking up 30% of their budgets. However, security issues remain a key issue, with half of respondents citing potential vulnerabilities in third-party integrations as their top data security concern. regulatory compliance is also a significant barrier to full deployment of AI-driven automation. Despite these challenges, 70% of the load is falling on IT teams.
