Camunda, a process automathematic company that enables organizations to orchestrate and automate processes across people, systems, and devices, is set to grow to $100 million in annual recurring revenue in 2024 with 500 Camundi. The company, which originally started as a consulting business in 2008, developed its own software after discovering a tool that could orchestrate a process didnt exist. The first version of Camunda was brought to market in 2013, and in 2016, we published our book ‘Real-Life BPMN’ which has become a go-to-life resource for process modeling. Camunda’s core focus is on process orchestration, ensuring businesses can better coordinate processes across individuals and systems. CEO Jakob Freund shared his favorite memories working for the company so far, including working with a diverse and inspiring group of people from around the world. He also highlighted the real-world impact Camunda has on business-critical processes such as payments for some of the largest banks in the world and NASA uses Camunda for its operations in space.
