Automation Anywhere, a global technology company, is optimistic about India due to the recent surge in artificial intelligence (AI) and GenAI as major tailwinds for the company. The company has about 1,600 employees globally, with nearly 800 based in India. Most of the companys R&D and product engineering talent sits out of its Bengaluru office. While the US is the largest market for AutomationAnywhere in terms of revenue contribution, India is a strategic market for the use of its technology. Co-Founder and COO Ankur Kothari highlighted the potential of AI to enhance most automation programs and said that the company is well-positioned to take advantage of this advantage. He also highlighted the integration of AI into an end-to-end automation cycle, which can automate 40-80% of work processes compared to the previous 20-30% of RPA.
