Press Keys on VM & Browser Not Saving Copied Text to Clipboard

Hello @Product ,

Non urgent, just a heads up; when we copying text in a VM browser, the values aren't saved to the clipboard. Instead it either returns nothing, or if the browser session is set to edit, it'll return the last thing in my personal clipboard.

Also, when pressing Control+a, sometimes instead of selecting all, it'll open the Chrome tab search menu instead (Control+Shift+A).

Leeann After taking a look, here’s what we’re seeing:

Clipboard size limitation
There is currently a limit on how much content can be copied out of a VM session, roughly _256k characters. If more than this is copied, the clipboard will fail to update on the bot side, which can result in either an empty value or unexpected clipboard contents.
We’re going to update the relevant Wrk Action descriptions to clearly document this limitation.

Clipboard syncing in edit mode
When opening the RPA Session Controller in edit mode, clipboard syncing is expected behaviour. In this state, the VM clipboard will auto-sync with your local clipboard, which explains why you may see values from your personal clipboard instead.

Ctrl+A behaving like Ctrl+Shift+A
For the intermittent behaviour where Ctrl+A triggers Chrome’s tab search (Ctrl+Shift+A), it appears the Shift key may be getting stuck at some point during execution.
