The report gathered insights from supply chain professionals and provides a cross-industry snapshot of the current state of RPA in supply chain. It also revealed that organizations are exploring RPA across several supply chain areas, including supply chain planning, sourcing and procurement, logistics and warehousing, and manufacturing. The study also found that RPA is crucial in Logistics and Warehousing as it enables the automation of shipment scheduling and tracking, data management, inventory management, and order fulfillment. However, cost cutting is a key barrier to RPAs widespread deployment in supply chains, with 54% of respondents citing the cost as a top barrier.
