The Senior Principal Engineer - Automation Engineering – Biologics - is needed for a position at Eli Lilly and Company in Lebanon, Indiana. The position will be part of the Automation engineering Department at Eli Lily, Foundry. The engineer will provide automation support for one or more operating areas across site and/or for capital projects. He will also be responsible for ensuring reliable and compliant control applications and systems are used in manufacturing at Foundry, and will be a key technical expert with partners to influence and implement within the process control organization and across functional disciplines. The role requires significant collaboration, creativity and resilience as the site grows to a full scale GMP manufacturing through start up. The Senior Principal Engineering will also lead and oversee Site Area leads and System Integrator, and implement functional requirements and process control strategies for control systems in collaboration with Process Engineering.
