Tungsten Automation Corporation (formerly known as Kofax, Inc), has reported a data breach that affected at least 5,556 individuals across the United States on May 20, 2025. The breach compromised personal information (PII), which could include names, contact information, dates of birth, Social Security numbers, drivers license or state ID numbers. The company has not specified the exact types of information exposed. The incident was reported to the Maine and California Attorneys General on the same day and began notifying affected individuals.
