Jahangirnagar Universitys (JU) central library has introduced several automation tools, including Radio-Frequency Identification (RFID) and Ultra High Frequency (UHF) security gates, to facilitate student access to knowledge and ensure book security. The tools were inaugurated at a ceremony attended by JU Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Mohammad Kamrul Ahsan, who stated they aim to ease students knowledge and enhance book safety in the library. The ceremony was presided over by Acting Library In-Charge Dr Abu Sayed Md. Mostafizur Rahaman and Deputy In-charge Mohammad Ashraful Islam.
