MTC Events held its fourth annual Robotics & Automation (R&A) conference in Coventry, attracting hundreds of attendees from across the manufacturing and technology sectors. The event featured a speech by Rt Hon Greg Clark, a member of the Government’s Industrial Strategy Advisory Council and former Business Secretary under the previous Conservative Government, and keynote address by John Slinger, Labour MP for the constituency of Rugby, who advocates the adoption of robotics and autonomous systems in the West Midlands. Over 35 exhibitors and around 400 attendees shared knowledge, exchanging expertise, and building valuable connections. The success of the event came alongside news that Birmingham will host the European Robotics Forum (ERF) 2027.
