Black Book Research, a leading source for global healthcare IT insights, has released its 2025 report: Robotic Process Automation (RPA) is becoming a crucial part of sustainable revenue cycle transformation in healthcare. The survey, conducted by 473 RCM executives across hospitals, health systems, and physician organizations, found that nearly 70% of respondents achieved full ROI on RPA investments within 12 to 18 months of deployment. 21% of healthcare provider organizations have implemented RPA in at least one revenue cycle function, with 83% expecting to expand RPA use to deny management, prior authorization, and financial clearance by late 2026. The report also identified top performing RPA driven vendors for leading robotic process revenue cycle execution.
