Ginkgo Bioworks (DNA, Financial) has partnered with Aura Genetics to install an advanced automation system at Auras new high-throughput facility in Louisville, KY. The Reconfigurable Automation Cart (RAC) system will be installed at the facility, which aims to process tens of thousands of samples daily. The partnership also includes joint protocol development, biovalidation, and comprehensive technical support. This partnership will significantly increase Aura Genetics direct-to-consumer testing capabilities. Will Serber, General Manager of Ginkgo Automation, said the partnership is a significant leap forward for Aura Genetics, enabling them to enhance their testing speed and reliability.
